Vedas: Let light and knowledge flow to
them…
Immortality
Everything is loved, not for its own sake,
but because the self lives in it.
Confusion takes place when something is
seen as separate from the self. Everything is from the breath of the supreme. Without
the self nothing exists. How can the knower ever be known?
The imperishable is: without knowing the
imperishable, one cannot attain immortality.
The light of man is the sun or the moon or
fire or speech. But when each of it is set, then the self of the man is the
light of man.
The self is beyond good and evil
The self contains all, for there is nothing
separate from him. Where there is unity there is no first and the second.
The self moves across body and minds. As
our desire is so is our will, so our will, so our acts, and our acts govern how
we live. When desire is becomes desire less, the mortal becomes immortal.
